JULIA JEFFERSON was born on August 24, 1906, and grew up on the Jefferson family farm in Currituck County, North Carolina. She was the fifth child of Lena and Joseph.

Lena married William Alexander Hunt, Sr on January 14th, 1926. They remained in North Carolina for the rest of their lives.

    LENA LAVERNE HUNT was born on March 11, 1933 in Currituck County. She was married twice, once to Gene Simons, and once to William Clyde.

    BERNARD HUNT was born on April 28, 1936 in Currituck County, and passed away on June 20, 1943 at the age of seven.

    ALICE ELAINE HUNT was born on May 26, 1938. She married Douglas Philmore Lindsey on June 24, 1961.
